Hocktide 1910. The Constable, Alfred Allright, of the Universal Stores, is about to send the Tuttimen, Alfred Macklin on the left, and Robert Cole on the right, to visit all the Commoners' houses in the town. Note: Other photographs show Alfred’s father Frederick Macklin as Tuttiman - This is the only known occasion when father and son shared the duty of Tuttiman on the same day! Note Railings on Town Hall steps!
