He is shown on the war memorial as E.F. Mills and on the St. Lawrence's church board as E.T. Mills. (Phil Wood (War Memorials of West Berkshire website), kindly contacted the Virtual Museum (July 2011) saying that his name in the CWGC records is E.T. Mills).

Local Information:

He was the son of A. and H. Mills of Hungerford and the husband of Alice Mills, Pentland Cottages, Franklynn Road, Haywards Heath.

His date of enlistment is not known but he ended up in the 11th Veterinary Hospital in Salonika. He died on the 21st April 1919, aged 35 and is buried in the Mikra British Cemetery, Kalamaria.
