In the page on Eddington I see that Anne Gresham-Cooke remembered that "William Hedges - nurseryman and orchards where Thatched House, bungalow and caravan site are [now the vets and garden centre-HLP]

This is confirmed by Marjorie Eatwell's recollections, found in this bit on the Hedges and Gibbs Family History.

8 Jan 2007: (DD1) Passed to Elspeth Isobel Cooper, his daughter.

31 Oct 2008: (DD1) Mr & Mrs Mark Wilson bought property from Elspeth Cooper.

April 2018: Bought by Oliver and Zdenka Blackwell. Major changes and extensions made.
