Local Information:
Gunner Fishlock was the son of Noah and Eliza Amelia Fishlock, of High Street, Hungerford. He was killed in action on Wednesday, 15th November 1916, age 24. He is buried in
the Guards Cemetery Lesboeufs, Somme, France.

(Brigade HQ) – Ginchy – During the morning enemy artillery very active indeed, all battery positions being heavily shelled especially D/5 battery who
suffered casualties, 4 killed and one wounded. (Our batteries were firing on moon trench).
