the Royal Marine Artillery who manned the large guns on the fleet's biggest ships.
The Commonwealth War Graves Commission shows only 4 Spooner's lost in the Great War with only one being in the Royal Marine Artillery. This marine is shown as coming from Kent
with no obvious Hungerford Connections.
