Hungerford Camera Club is an active and thriving club producing some stunning photographs - shared with the public at their regular Exhibitions in the Corn Exchange.

The formation of a Camera Club was first suggested in April 1902. Arrangements were made for a dark room "at the back of the Church House premises. Here instruction will be given in the technical processes of photography, eg Dry Plate and Film Development, Bromide Enlarging, Lantern Slide production, Contact and Development Printing &c. The Dark Room will be at the disposal of members at certain hours, to be specified later.". The key proponent was Mr F Taylor, photographer in Bridge Street, and Mr Matthews, postmaster.
