You are in [People] [Clergy and Teachers] [Rev WAG Gray]

The Rev WAG Gray, MA, was vicar of Hungerford between 1895 and 1900. It was during his term of office that several important projects came to fruition, including Hungerford Newtown Infant School, St John's Mission Hall (opened 12th October 1899), and Church House (now Croft Hall), (opened 2nd August 1900).

Indeed, his very last duty was to preside at the opening ceremony of Church House. In the afternoon of 2nd august, a presentation was made to Mr Gray thanking him for his spiritual work over the previous five and a half years.
